Welcome to Babay! These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Babay website and services at babay.ai (the "Service"). By accessing or using our Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

By creating an account or using Babay, you confirm that:

• You are a parent, guardian, or caregiver of a child

• You understand that Babay provides informational content only, not medical advice

Babay is an AI-powered parenting information service that:

• Aggregates information from trusted medical and parenting sources
• Shows consensus across multiple sources with confidence scores
• Allows you to save questions and personalize your experience

• Seek emergency medical advice (call 911 or your local emergency number instead)
• Replace consultation with qualified healthcare professionals
• Upload or transmit harmful, illegal, or inappropriate content
• Attempt to access, tamper with, or use non-public areas of the Service
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers
• Scrape, crawl, or use automated means to access the Service without permission
• Impersonate others or misrepresent your affiliation
• Use the Service for any commercial purpose without authorization

5. Intellectual Property

The Babay Service, including its content, features, and functionality, is owned by Babay and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not:

• Copy, modify, or distribute our content without permission
• Use our trademarks, logos, or branding without authorization
• Remove any copyright or proprietary notices

You retain ownership of any content you submit, but grant us a license to use it in connection with operating the Service.

14. Dispute Resolution

Before filing any legal claim, you agree to try to resolve the dispute informally by contacting us at legal@babay.ai. We will try to resolve the dispute within 30 days. If we cannot resolve it informally, you agree that any dispute will be resolved through binding arbitration, except for claims that may be brought in small claims court.

15. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.

16. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Babay regarding the Service.
